A COLLECTIVE VOICE IN SUPPORT OF INDEPENDENT SCHOOLING FAMILIES
A new WhatsApp group has been set up for AFIS members to share their views and provide feedback to AFIS.
Parents, carers, students, teachers, staff, alumni and all supporters of independent schooling are invited to share experiences, concerns and perspectives on the changing national landscape in UK education, including:
* VAT on school fees
* School closures and mergers, acquisitions and other sector changes
* Media narratives and public discourse
* The impact of binary “state/private” labels and two-tier treatment of children and families
* Home, hybrid, online and alternative forms of schooling
